Phillips is NITA Participant

DMSA associate attorney Daniel J. Phillips recently completed a week-long Building Trial Skills program presented by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). The program, which was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, from January 16-22, 2016, provides participants an opportunity to develop and practice their skills in all stages of a trial, including witness examinations, presentation of evidence, and opening and closing statements.

“The NITA program was very intense, but I cannot overestimate how valuable the experience was,” Phillips said. “Each day of the program, I could see substantial progress in my trial skills. Our clients will immediately reap the benefits of this program.”

According to NITA’s website, NITA is the nation's leading provider of legal advocacy skills training, pioneering the application of “learning-by-doing” methodology to build legal skills. Phillips’ participation in the program demonstrates DMSA’s commitment to zealously represent its clients in all areas of law.
