FINRA qualifies Ackermann as Arbitrator Chairperson

Following a perfect score on the Chairperson Training Course qualifying exam, on February 8, 2017 the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) approved Jeffrey Ackermann to begin serving as panel chairperson for FINRA arbitrations.  Knowledgeable chairpersons are instrumental in facilitating efficient and fair arbitrations decided by a panel of arbitrators.  Chairpersons are authorized to act on behalf of the FINRA panel in issuing subpoenas, directing appearances, ordering the production of documents and information, setting deadlines and issuing any other order that may expedite the arbitration process and permits parties to develop their cases fully.  Prior thereto Mr. Ackermann was qualified and has served as a FINRA panelist and has completed advanced arbitrator training in Direct Communication Rules and Duties of Disclosure.
